Project INCO - ACACIAGUM - Innovative Management of Acacia senegal Trees to Improve Land Productivity and Gum Arabic Production in Arid and Semi-Arid Sub-Saharan Africa
Ngara is a regional network hosted by KEFRI, comprising member countries in sub Saharan Africa producing plants gums and resins. Thera are currently 14 countries from sub Saharan Africa namely: Burkina Faso, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mauritainia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Somali, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda.
NGARA aims to assist African producing countries and partners formulate a coordinated strategy for the sustainable development of natural gum and resins resources for improved rural livelihoods and environmental conservation.
